As part of the BMW Welt Young Photo Award in collaboration with Leica Camera AG, Sebastian König took on the challenge of reinterpreting the BMW Welt in Munich through photography. Only analogue cameras were permitted for this project. Sebastian was awarded bronze for his outstanding photo series.

The large-format motifs presented during FOTOGIPFEL OBERSTDORF show the visual exploration of the theme of HUMAN by the SPARTS interdisciplinary arts collective at a particularly challenging time for young people. The artists worked closely together for the exhibition to visually represent their worldview and their exploration of humanity in the motifs on display. The result is a series of works that are also intended as a symbol of human coexistence.

As the style Zeitgeist descended upon the Westend office, the Berlin-based fashion virtuosos, Jale Richert and Michele Beil, cast an electrifying spell over BERLIN FASHION WEEK. Celebrating their 10 years of groundbreaking fashion narrative, RICHERT BEIL unveiled their AW 24 collection to an eager audience. Sebastian König takes us on a journey to the backstage area of the show NACHLASS aka ESTATE and lets us take part in the extraordinary atmosphere that prevails there.

I am responsible for the brand image and the campaign shootings for the brand.

In the DREAMSELL series , I show how Thailand stages a flawless façade for tourists. Paradise beaches, exotic markets, unforgettable experiences. But behind this illusion, authentic culture often takes a back seat and is overshadowed by mass tourism. The images provide a glimpse into the hidden reality behind the staged perfection.
